Bex enters his fifth decade in a state of grace with this new trio, which features two of his favourite musical associates : Simon Goubert, with whom he formed the BFG trio in 2000 with American trombonist Glenn Ferris, and Italy's Francesco Bearzatti, whom he first played with in Aldo Romano's Because of Bechet project.
